Low Country Audio

Low Country Audio is a seven headed psychadelic beast formed by the collaboration of two sets of longtime musicians and friends. Formerly of Blue Moses, Brentwood, Area 51 Superfunk Revival and the Episcopal High Jazz Band, brothers Jake McMains and Will McMains joined forces with Ryan Daigle, Thomas Johnson and Vaughn Daigle, of Blackwater Bliss and The Back Forty, to become the group it is today. Along the way they picked up the north shore’s own Scotty Labelle on organ to add one more musician to an already packed house. Sounds like a lotta noise? Wrong. Sounds like a lotta awesome. LCA is a family affair with two sets of brothers, Jake and Will, on bass and drums who are as tight as you want your daughter to be because they learned how to play together. Ryan and Vaughn Daigle are twins and share an obvious musical connection, and with longtime band member and friend Thomas Johnson’s swirling blues licks these three complete a combo thats finger lickin’ good. As if that was not enough family action for ya, on a good night you might even see Scotty’s dad melting faces with his tenor sax. So basically we are one big family up there with the common goal of making listeners vomit (in a good way), we’ll also settle for some soggy drawers on the way out. With little interest in money or fame we strive to keep audiences shakin’ and hopefully pukin’ by the time the lights turn back on.
