The Baton Rouge Advocate profiles the band here.

Austin’s Summer Wardrobe are led by Baton Rouge native Jon Sanchez,
who did time in Chaos Horde and Agnostic Front. This is a different
proposition entirely, since relocating to Austin in the late ’80s Sanchez
led the psychedelic/shoegazer band The Flying Saucers (which featured
former members of The Reivers and Nice Strong Arm) and became part
of local rootsy supergroup Superego, and has done stints backing up
tons of notable names (The Summer Wardrobe will be backing Roky
Erickson in NYC later this summer). The band also includes drummer
George Duron, from the present line-up of Dumptruck.

The Junior League is the child of multi-instrumentalist/singer/songwriter
Joe Adragna, who puts it across live with help from friends from
The Myrtles, Hairy Lamb and others. Adragna recenty did a few shows
in a duo version of Scott MaCaughey’s (R.E.M.) Minus 5 opening for
Jeff Tweedy. The Junior League was recently nominated in the category
of “Best Emerging Artist” in New orleans’ Gambit Magazine’s Big Easy
Awards, and debut record “Catchy” made offBeat Magazine’s “Top 50
Louisiana cds of 2006″ list.
