JJ Grey & Mofro w/ Hobex
Mofro
Growing up in the swamplands of northern Florida, down home roots, rock and soul artist JJ Grey became a realist early on. “You fall in love with a pig,” he says, “and then one day your granddad knocks it in the head and bleeds it for butchering. You tend to grow up with a certain […]
Jim Bianco/Jenny Owens Youngs/ Tobias Froberg
Jim Bianco
My first musical memory was of my mother, Jane, a nice Jewish girl from Brooklyn, playing Scott Joplin’s “The Entertainer” on a tinny old Baldwin upright piano. The performance was far from perfect, but I will say, and this isn’t just because she’s my mother, that what her playing lacked in technique, it made […]
Jesse Sykes w/ The Moaners and The Secret Annexe
Jesse Sykes
My life is going by at an insane speed - as lives tend to do. I’ve been here just long enough to have almost forgotten where it is I really came from, or maybe it’s that I’ve been here long enough to have learned how

Bill Kirchen w/ Breaker 1-9
Bill Kirchen
Grammy nominated guitarist, singer and songwriter Bill Kirchen is one of the fortunate few who can step on any stage, play those trademark licks which drove the seminal Commander Cody classic Hot Rod Lincoln into the Top Ten nationwide, and elicit instant recognition for a career that’s spanned over 30 years and includes performances […]

Blueground Undergrass
Blueground Undergrass

The band has always been known for exciting performances and eclectic arrangements. Its sonic wall of twang type sound pleases the whole spectrum of fans from hippies to cloggers to […]
Country Fried
New Orleans quartet Country Fried brings a new outlook to an old genre, helping to revive acoustic outlaw country. Telling the stories of themselves and friends through original songs that speak of the highs and lows that life brings, Country Fried brings back the “feeling” of country music. The band started playing gigs in neighborhood […]
Grizzly Bear w/ Papercuts and Harlan
Grizzly Bear
Home-recorded songs can feel incomplete whilst being as tantalizingly indicative as the sketches before a painting. The outlines, though interesting in their own respect, are not as satisfying as the finished version. Grizzly Bear, however, have approached song writing as a craft to master from their very first album, Horn of Plenty onwards. Enamored […]
